New Orleans metal legends CROWBAR are set to bring their punishing riffs to stages across the US one last time in 2024, with their headlining tour kicking off on November 5th. As if the tour wasn’t exciting enough for metal fans across the country, the final stop of the run holds extra weight – CROWBAR will finish their journey with a highly-anticipated homecoming performance at the Southport Music Hall in New Orleans on November 29th. For a band born and bred in the Crescent City, it’s a fitting conclusion to the tour, offering fans in their hometown one more chance to witness the relentless energy that has defined CROWBAR for decades.

The tour, featuring special guests Morbid Visionz, will travel through nearly two dozen cities, beginning in Houston with a stacked show that includes Soulfly and Eyehategod. But for New Orleans fans, the biggest moment will undoubtedly be the final stop, where CROWBAR will return to their roots and deliver a thunderous performance. Having long been a staple of New Orleans’ heavy music scene, this show will be more than just a concert – it’s a celebration of the band’s legacy and deep connection to the city’s unique culture and sound.

Led by the iconic Kirk Windstein, the current lineup – including guitarist Matt Brunson, bassist Shane Wesley, and drummer Tommy Buckley – promises to deliver tracks from their most recent album Zero And Below as well as their vast catalog of doom-laden hits. Released in 2022, Zero And Below has been praised for its raw emotion and signature crushing heaviness, showcasing the band’s relentless intensity and deep introspection. Fans can expect to hear powerful anthems like “Chemical Godz” and “Bleeding From Every Hole,” which have only further cemented CROWBAR’s reputation as one of the heaviest and most authentic forces in the world of sludge and doom metal.

New Orleans has always been at the heart of CROWBAR’s music, influencing their sound with its swampy, gritty vibe. The band’s final show of the tour is expected to be an emotional, high-energy night that blends their trademark heaviness with the soul-searching vulnerability that has earned them a loyal following around the globe. For New Orleans metalheads, it’s a chance to witness a local powerhouse close out a nationwide tour in the city where it all began.

Tickets for CROWBAR’s headlining tour are on sale now at crowbarnola.com, but New Orleans fans will want to act fast – a hometown show like this is sure to sell out quickly.

Don’t miss out on this epic night of heavy metal history as CROWBAR brings it all back home.
